Full Event Info & Submission Guidelines:
This year, OWBC25 will have only the solo category -
​
We will have:
- 4 qualifier battles on our discord
(Oct 18th & 25th + Nov 1st & 8th)
​
- Top 16 wildcard competition (Oct 15th - Nov 5th)

- Main elimination stage (Nov. 22nd)
[Judged by: TBA]
- Top 16 Battles Stage (Nov. 29th)
[Judged by: Osis, Max, KAJI, River' & Shah]

​To qualify for the main elimination stage, you must either win a wildcard through a YouTube submission video or make the finals of one of the 4 qualifier battles.

WILDCARD RULES & DEADLINES
​
Wildcard Videos are due by November 5th 11:59PM EST at the latest.
The guidelines for the video are as follows:
- 90 seconds long +/- 10 seconds
- Clean audio and minimal EQing (within 10db range)
- No pre-recorded audio/lipsyncing
- Visible face, good lighting/decent camera quality
- Video Title Format:

Originality - 25%
(How unique is your composition?)
Complexity - 20%
(How difficult is your composition to execute?)
Execution - 20%
(How well did you execute your composition?)
Musicality - 20%
(rhythm, pitch accuracy, melodic working together in a structured and expressive way?)
Sound Quality - 15%
(How clear and refined are your sounds?)​

The second way to qualify for the elimination stage is by making it to the finals in one of the four top 8 open elimination battles we will host throughout October and November.
These battles will be open elimination, first come first serve - so anyone can enter and we will have a maximum of 40 eliminations per event.
On November 13th, we will announce 16 solo wildcard winners. They will be invited to do an elimination alongside the 8 qualifier battle finalists and the top 4 from OWBC24 who have decided to enter again.
On November 22nd we'll see who qualifies for the main battles on November 29th.
